LOOKING FOR TED RIST

I haven’t had one minute to post anything to this blog lately … I’ve been tying up a freelance job that doesn’t pay well (what’s new?), and trying to decorate for the holidays since we lost a week with Thanksgiving coming at the end of November this year.

In the New Year, I am going to revamp this site. Everything I’ve read says that writing sites should be focused, and mine is all over the place. In addition, I am working on launching a site that has to do with homeschooling.

Hope the holidays brings the peace and love it’s supposed to stand for, but I won’t hold my breath. After all, this is planet Earth.

In the meantime, does anyone know the whereabouts of a writer named Ted Rist? Back in the 1990s when I was living in Florida, he shared a novel he was writing about the secret drug war in Laos. The book was a fascinating read, a real “edge of your seat” kind of adventure. He was three-quarters of the way through with writing it, but we lost touch before I got to read the ending. What makes the book so believable is that it was based on Mr. Rist’s real life adventures as a vet from the Viet Nam War. I do hope he finished the book. Contact me if someone out there knows how to get in touch with Ted Rist.
